Primark Haul | Wintery Bits

It's been quite a while since I've done one of these! A good old fashioned Primark haul.

I've recently been browsing my local Primark in an attempt to fill a few gaps in my winter wardrobe. Actually, I was only looking to fill one gap, the perfect lounging around in a cold house jumper type gap, but as I browsed around Primark I realised I had more gaps to fill (eye roll).

Lets ease in with the accessories.

Mittens. Berry toned mittens. A winter essential, am I right? Like I mention in my video (scroll to the bottom of the page) I have plenty of finger encasing gloves, but no mittens that give me the freedom of unleashing my fingertips (to use my phone and get that Christmas Costa cup shot).
I'm in love with this red/purple berry colour at the minute, as becomes pretty evident as the haul goes on, and these little mittens match my favourite winter pom pom hat. So for £3, they were a no brainer.

The next thing I picked up is a rose gold toned accessories hanger. I don't know what on earth I'm going to use this for if I'm honest. But it was £2 and pretty and I wanted it, so that's that. I'm sure I'll be able find it a place to hang so it can fulfill it's life goals.

I then grabbed these gorgeous marble style glue on nails for £1. Love, love, love these. Like I mention in the video below, I can't stand having bare nails and I often gel them myself. But some times I just can't be bothered or fancy a design a bit more complicated and beyond my self-taught skills, which is where the good old glue ons come in. For just £1 I couldn't leave these marble beauties behind.

I usually steer clear of jewellery in Primark, I'll be honest. But I just had to pick up this pack of 3 simple little necklaces. I love layering necklaces like these with a choker and even if these don't have a terribly long life span before they loose their colour, I'm sure I'll get plenty of wear out of them to justify the £3 spend.

Now on to the clothes. If you want to see them all unfolded and bit more of a detailed look, check out my YouTube video on this haul at the bottom of the page. But first up we're back to that same berry shade as the mittens in the form of a cropped, ribbed and cold shoulder jumper for £10. I love this jumper for dressing up with a berry red lip, a big chunky gold necklace and heeled boots. Perfect for those winter evenings in the pub.

I then picked up two grey jumpers. The first one being a long, ribbed number with a slightly high neck for £12. I realised my wardrobe was missing just a simple grey jumper like these to throw on with jeans and create an easy, every day outfit without a lot of thought.

The next bit of grey, that you'd be forgiven for mistaking as a blanket, is the cosiest thing I've ever worn. It's a huge, over sized, chunky jumper with a big roll neck and is the perfect piece for snuggling on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good book. It's exactly what I was after. A comfy, cosy piece for those homey days.

Lastly, and back to that berry tone I warned you would be popping up a lot, is this ribbed/corduroy style A line skirt. I live in jeans, jeans are my comfort zone. But having seen plenty of dreamy winter outfits featuring similar style skirts gracing my Instagram feed, I had to pick up this one up for £8. I plan on pairing it with thick black tights, ankle boots and a high necked black t-shirt tucked in. So hopefully that'll look alright and I'll become a skirt convert.

So that's it. Everything I picked up! And as promised, here's the video:

Hope you enjoyed my Primark Haul, and hopefully there will be more to come!
