The Friday Five | Pet Peeves

1. When people say 'I could care less'
I hear this all the frickin' time and it drives me absolutely potty. You COULDN'T care less. If you 'could care less' that means you actually care, and surely that's the opposite of what you're trying to say? Think about it.

2. People who fidget
When I'm sat on a bench or in some way sharing a seat with some one, and they start tapping/shaking their leg and the whole bench/seat starts shaking and therefore my body starts involuntarily shaking. Stop please.

3. People who say they 'brought' something from a shop.
For example; 'Oh I brought loads of stuff in Topshop today...' what? No. You bought it, surely? How did that little 'r' sneak in there?

4. People parking over my driveway.
We live in a cul-de-sac and parking on our street can sometimes be a little crowded. It annoys me when people visiting some one else park over my driveway, but what annoys me more is when my neighbours park over it. There's nothing more annoying than coming home at the end of the day and finding I can't access my own driveway.  It's even worse when my car is actually parked on there and I'm being blocked in. It seriously grinds my gears. Heh.

5. People interrupting me at the gym.
Let me paint you a picture. I've been at the gym a while and I'm starting to tire. I'm hot, sweaty and trying to focus on pushing myself through another set on the leg press. A man comes up to me and taps me on the shoulder. I jump, having had my headphones in. I take them out and he says 'when will you be done on that? Can I use it while you're resting between sets?'. This has happened to me a few times now and it throws me off every time. I appreciate that it's a pain waiting for a machine but when I'm at the gym I go in to my own bubble and try to forget any one else exists (I have to or I'll crumble in to a self conscious mess). So to be interrupted when I'm 'in the zone' just puts me off.
